The Health Communication Core is part of a consortium of subcontractors providing specialized expertise to NCI’s development of PRO-CTCAE, a patient-reported outcomes version of the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE). Working with the PI, Ethan Basch, MD, and the Coordinating Center at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, HCC developed a set of online help tools, including a video, for study staff and participants, ensuring that content was easy to understand for users and that tools were user-friendly.
